SXSWeb FINALISTS REVEALED
The first annual SXSWeb Media Festival is pleased to announce this year's list of finalists!
From the many submissions, we have narrowed it down to five that will compete for inclusion in the 2005 edition of the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, TX.

NEW FOR SUMMER '04! SXSWeb MEDIAFEST
SXSWeb is our brand-new summer event dedicated to showcasing media on the world wide web. It's an online festival and a chance for video artists, digital animators, and filmmakers to get some exposure on the popular SXSW website.
Submissions no longer than 5 minutes in length will be accepted until the final deadline on June 7. All submission packages must include an application, a cast/crew list, a VHS or DVD (NTSC only) copy of the work, and an application fee of $15. Flash animations may submit an SWF file on CD-R.
On June 28, we will announce a list of finalists and showcase them on the SXSW website. A special jury, as well as the online public, will choose a series of winners in different categories. The winners will receive a series of prizes, including a slot as part of the 2005 SXSW Film Festival!
